Silicon Republic – Cork medtech firm AventaMed secures €1.8m to take grommets Stateside

The Cork company AventaMed which is a spin-out from CIT has announced a new round of funding from HBAN of €1.8m. This funding will enable AventaMed to cover the FDA approval for their innovative medical device, known as Solo Tympanostomy Tube Device or Solo TTD, to commercialise it and take it Stateside.
