Adama Innovations Ltd was formed after a research discovery, relating to the most powerful kind of telescope, was made at Trinity College Dublin. Irrus Investments are one of a number of backers of Embo Medical, based in NUI Galway's Business Innovation Centre. Embo Medical are an early stage medical device company, they develop technology to treat diseased peripheral vessels or to shut down blood flow in these vessels.
